D-boy- I'd rate your current avatar 8/10
First avatar- 6/10 the red typing doesn't show up too well and it looks a bit grainy.
Second avatar- 8/10 simpler the better. The image quality has improved a bit from the last one. Overall a clearer avatar.
Third avatar- 5/10 a little more grainy than the first two but has diffenate potential and the capture is good.

Gummibear:
Nice avatar. Lucky guy. I like the blue effect. 10/10.
PS:My avatar is VERY special. It comes from a one of a kind scan I found once...for a product that was so awesome I had to make this...so dont blam the grain.

It's a neat shot. There is quite a bit of grain, but since it's from a scan it's not that big a deal. 9/10

Commander Bun Bun, 10/10, love the bunny.
I changed my "theme" yet again. This time its Samurai Champloo!
I'm not sure which is better
This:
Or this:

Samurai Champloo is always a great theme, R. Smith.
I like the second avatar more. It has attitude, the first one just says 'Hey look, I'm a guy on the show'. The second one totally deserves a 10/10. The borders on each are a good choice. I'm a huge fan of borders in general, even if you can't do something big with them (because you don't have the ability or it doesn't work for the image) a simple black line around the perimeter gives the picture a boundary. I know that sounds like an oxymoron but things really do help.
For my avatar: There's both good and evil in Anakin and I'm trying to get a sense of that in the black and white of the border. I'm not so sure about how it worked in this avatar.

Dork: I think because of the size of the avatar the black and white border effect sort of gets lost. However the image quality is excellent. 9/10
Gummibear- Padmé and Anakin's manga-ized love child #1 (or was that #2). Nice image choice, but I can barely see it. There's too much contrast on the image, which makes it look washed out and too dark. 6.5/10 If you have the original image it shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Although I am far from a Star Wars fan, I really like that avatar. The black/white border goes well, and the colors are very nice. 10/10
Umino: I like it. The colors seem a little bit washed out though, but other than that the image is good. 9/10.

It's Vader! I am automatically adding 5 to the rating I give at the end, just because it is Vader.
That said...
It is a pretty solid avatar, but I think it could be better. The background seems a little grainy to me, and I am not too fond of the avatar's size: though I am a fan of vertical avatars (that is really the only type of avatar I use now), I am not a fan of vertical avatars when they are less than 100 pixels wide. Otherwise...it is rather hard for me to articulate, I admit (and a rather personal preference), but the avatar just...well, it just does not look right.
Eh, take that as you will. Of real substantial significance in that paragraph is the grainy background, anyhow: particularly around Vader.
Personally, I actually like the background color: I think it really fits this avatar, although I think the color is a little dull. For some reason (normally I am not a fan of dull color), it seems to enhance the avatar more than if the color was bright.
All things considered, a very solid avatar. Oh, and it is Vader. Again, +5 for Vader.
Clarity: 7 /10
Originality: 8 /10
Color: 8 /10
Stature: 6 /10
Objective: 7.4 /10
Subjective: 8 /10
Vader: +5
Overall: 12.5 /10

TFP:
Heh...transmitting live from Compy 2001, "The Behemoth", comes your avatar rating.
The Good:
What stands out about it is its soft style. It just looks like velvet feels. I cant really express it in words...and the background helps enhance the effect.
The Bad:Its really androgynous and I have no idea what its from. Doesnt take away though.
The Ugly:
The red eyes, though a nice touch, dont exactly have a place there. It blends in allright...but another color would have been better.
Final Verdict:8.7/10

Umino: The quality of the avatar is good, and I like how it matches your sig, but it looks a little darker, and that bothers me a little. Other than that a good avatar. 9/10

Wingnut 10/10 Guitar-playing Chibi Gundam RULZ!
And, D-Boy I don't think your Av is bland. But, I'm a big Tekkaman fan so I might be biased. (Since you seem to be one too, can you tell me if Dead-end is Male or Female? I couldn't figure it out).

D-Boy...
Got no idea who that person is in your avatar. But it is a decent picture. Little faded looking, but that's fine by me. Overall, 8.5/10.

Tetsu Deinonychus Mach-2 - 7 out of 10
I'm very fond of the amount of color in this avatar; they prominently stand out. Though, it is rather grainy and lacking a border. I give it a rating of 7 out of 10.

Avenir: 9.5 out of 10.
The scaling required for an avatar sort of does an injustice to the artwork, but it fits your theme for your Avatar, Sigpic, and everything that comes with them. And even for the scaling done, your avatar still looks cool.
