Woo-hoo! Got some piccies from 'Midsummer Night's Dream'! As mentioned, this was an updated version that took place in Central Park. the Rude Mechanicals (the actors that put a play on for Theseus and Hippolyta) are a pack of bums in this production.

Anyway - I'm the one in the patched skirt, pink shirt, top hat, and brown jacket.

coolness! Big Grin I'm diggin the costumes you guys are wearing O_O Big Grin

I remember back in 6th grade I was the tailor...(Robin Starvling?)...but our school butchered it last year when they did it "retro" style and used hawaiian shirts, miniskirts, camo uniforms and the like for their "modern" version of the play Neutral (it was crap!)

Geez, Evan, I played Robin Starveling in my production!!!! (Or, as I described my character at my blog: "I have eight lines and I carry a bunch of crap around in the last scene.")

"All I have to say is, to tell you that this lantern is the moon. I am the man in the moon. This thornbush my thornbush. This dog my dog."

Speaking of the dog, there she is in the first picture in front of us. Dear old Snickerty. ^_^

What did Hawaiian shirts, camos, and miniskirts have to do with young lovers and the fairy court??

Time for some long overdue comments. Smile

Pygmalion - Nice family photo. I'm glad to hear the get-together went well.

Commander Bun Bun - Very swank suit with a felicitous pink tie to match.

Umino - Cool, and what photo of you wouldn't be complete without Cutey Honey merchandise.

Lady Tesser - As I've mentioned in the past, you are fabulous in costume.

Almasy - Quite a daring photo op, yet a fabulous one.

Well, it took an entire year, but I finally managed to create an issue of my school newsletter, The Tiger Rag. So, in honor of this joyous occasion, I have decided to share a few, terrible pictures of my beloved newsletter.

Front Page, take note of the Pac Man esque writing style for the title, and the large Blood Snail next to it. We threw that in there because it looked cool. There is also a little Skull Bat, but its hard to see.

Back Page, note the transformers ad made by my Co- Editor. Also, there is a zombie hand holding our paper in the corner. My one article is on this page as well. Its the extremely large on at the bottom of the page.

A closer look at the artisitic endeavors of my Co-Editors. He has about 50 of these wierd commercials, for things like Mentos and Rolaids.

Nice picture, Aircraftkiller. Smile

While sifting through an old picture folder on another computer in the house, I came across these photographs I took back in 2001 in the garden at one of my dad's customer's homes. Both pictures gained a reputation for my photography at the time, especially the latter of the Robins.

Almasy 04-28-2005 05:21 PM
Ooh, nice pics, Avenir! ^_^
