I finally had my hair highlighted this afternoon. I no longer have dark brown hair, but now ash blonde.

I'm very pleased with the final results. It's a lot brighter and less streaky in person; the room I took the "after" photos in wasn't well lit.

On a relevant note, I sent Dark-0 a text message while I was sitting under the dryer at the salon. Thanks for the reply!

I think the highlights look really good! They look very natural, as if you've been out in the sun alot and the sun has turned it blonder! It really brightens/freshens up your whole image!

Highlights + New Brightly-Colored American Eagle Wardrobe = A cool new Avenir, just in time for Spring/Summer! ^_^

You'll find that gradually as you keep getting highlights every couple of months, the blonde will "build up" over time and you'll gradually, and seemingly naturally, get blonder and blonder. ^_^

Not too bad, Avenir. Came out pretty well. Not sure about going lighter but, heck, it's your hair.
