Lizard - most paintshop programs will have an option for you in the 'Colors' section of the toolbar to either go black and white or drop the colors down to two.
Fallen Phoenix - It's incredible seeing how people change from year to year. I can recognize people GROWING UP.
I'm old.

Well, being as my eye was recently displayed a few rounds ago in the Eye Game, I suppose it is only fitting I post a picture of myself, too...and unlike the last picture of myself that was posted, you will actually see more than simply my dead profile.
Yes, that does mean I have since been resurrected, but what do you expect of a phoenix?
In any case, these are the most recent pictures I have of myself, taken at my aunt's house during the annual Christmas Eve party, attended by our extended family. A word or two about the pictures: first, my hair is usually not that tame...generally, it looks more like a mop, or so I'm told; secondly, that gold trinket I have hanging around my neck actually has the image of a phoenix engraved on it (what else would you expect?)...unfortunately, that image was too blurred to salvage from the pictures.

That would be me receiving my book on the human psyche (a gift from my aunt) from "Santa" (that is to say, my uncle's brother
). I find that Santa gets ever more perverse as the years drag on...or perhaps it's just that every year I comprehend them ever more.
Most likely, it's a combination of the two...

A crop of myself from the (nuclear) family picture; the hair in the mirror would be that of my dear mother. The light on my right side (the picture's left) comes from the reflection of the flash, which was caught in the picture...
...we may have several people in our family (as it is quite large), but I never said any of them were photogrophers!
That picture is actually buried someplace in the Eye Game thread, too (for me page 19, but I maximize posts per page so mileage may vary).
So there you go, the mysterious enigma known as The Fallen Phoenix has been revealed at last. I might post one or two pictures in a few days, but do not count on it; I do not intend to post any more pictures for quite some time (if at all). Very rarely do they ever come out that well...granted, it's not as if I have all that many pictures to choose from (I actually do not have all that many pictures of myself, and even less of respectable quality). |
Very "kick ass", my friend. The question as to what you look like no longer remains valid.

Wow, The Fallen Phoenix isn't just a super computer mascarading as a human.

Nice photo, dude!
As for CoHugh, Xana Fae and com_bun_bun, you all look great. Kudos!

Nice pics!
Xana: Lovely as always.
Fallen Phoenix: Now I know what a plucked phoenix looks like!

(j/k - Good pics! If I ever find the pic of me in my work outfit sitting on Santa's lap, I'll post it)

So I'm allowed 3 pics, right? Here goes nothing:
A fairly recent picture of me with my video camera:
This was in early December. The Film and Anime clubs I'm part of had a fundraising contest. Losing President got a pie in the face from the winner. This is from just before the ceremony while we were waiting outside the room it took place in (we had to wait while it was unlocked because the person who was supposed to watch it never showed up.
Well, I was the winner, and this was the result:
The guy in red is actually a member here as well, by the username of Nigoki. The pie wasn't your typical "pie someone in the face pie", either. It was a bananna cream pie.

SPlattered everywhere, well beyond the tarp we'd set up. The whole thing took longer to clean up than anything else.
Finally, a slightly older picture (from late last June) of me and my Jeep. Took it the day I got it and always meant to get get around to posting it. It's a bit on the large side, so I won't direct post the image:

I love my Jeep.

It's been awhile since I last posted any pictures.
Here's my
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam poster that came with the series' DVD boxset. My father framed it for me.
My DVD and manga collection. The dog thing is a stuffed Kiba toy that comes with the
Wolf's Rain volume one DVD box (pictured).
A quick peek inside my display closet.

Yep! Two VF-1 Valkyries; Hikaru's VF-1J (1/48; not pictured) from the TV series and Max's VF-1A (1/60; pictured) from the
Do You Remember Love? movie. I also have the YF-21, VF-19A, and VF-11B from
Macross Plus. I'll post a few pictures when my five post limit is up.

If your message was aimed at me, I always buy them with my money. Hey, it's just a hobby.

It was a general question to everyone. I certainly have my own share of junk, but my parents probably would be concerned if I bought as many DVD's and things that you guys have bought.
(I save money anyway)

I'm 22. My parents quit being involved in what I buy with my own money when I became 16 and was forced to get a job. As long as I wasn't buying crack and continued paying my bills, it was ok with them. I did then and I do now.
Are you going to buy the shadow fighter, Ave? It looks pretty, but I got out of the model/toy buying scene a long time ago due to my DVD addiction and lack of storage space...

(Forgot to check age)
Either way its not like they would stop me from buying anything.......... maybe I'm just not as passionate about anime and such like you guys are.
Well whatever you spend your pleasure cash on ain't nona my bussiness.

I want one, but I doubt it. They're cheaply made and overpriced. Toynami really goofed up on the Alpha Masterpiece toys by releasing thousands of defective ones. I got lucky with mine, which is almost perfect, but I think I've been scared off into buying more after reading horror stories from other people who bought defects.
The Yamato VF toys are ten times nicer and far more durable.
