To prove it, here's a shot of my window just a few moments ago:



Now, see that ice on the window. That's on the inside. I've been scraping it off. I put a thermometor next to the window. It's 40 degrees there. The temperature is outside.

Also, there are two layers of ice. That lower layer has been there for 2 days, and it cannot be scraped. That upper layer, the one that's not as clear, is new development.

It is two degrees Fahrenheit in Minnesota at this very moment. That spells out a -18 degree wind chill.

This is my window. There is no part of it that isn't covered in frost.
