Polar Express

I saw it this weekend and it is soooo cool! i used to read that book all the time when i was little! Tom Hanks did an awesome job with it!

I remember the book! I haven't seen the movie yet.

Yeah I agree, it was overshadowed by The Incredibles ( which is a great film)...it should have come out closer to Christmas time that's why I think it hasn't been doing too well at the box office.

Hopefully they'll keep it in there. My one club has plans to see it and that's about the only reason I'd see it.

Tell me, does it go well with the book? Do they do Van Ailsberg's (I hope I didn't spell the author's last name wrong) book justice?

I'm planning on seeing it with my son at the local IMAX theater. It should be great!

I assume they released it so early to take advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday. Not everyone wants to inhabit the malls this weekend.

Probably right, Madrona. I know I'll probably be seeing it on Thanksgiving, after the big meal. *shrug* That and/or Christmas with the Kranks.

It looks like a good movie . And, I've heard a lot of good stuff about it.
