Favorite Disney cartoon movie....

As I child, I adored the film Fantasia.
I sapped my mother's paycheck renting the VHS from our local
supermarket until we nearly broke the thing.
I would watch it over and over for days. I think I wore out our VCR.

I must agree with the opinion that Fantasia was and is Disney's pinnacle of
genius creativity and pure effort.

The film Aladdin makes a close second.
Something about the idea of "Phenomenal Cosmic Powers"
enchanted my imagination.

Of course, all of the Disney classics are genius.
Thier newest material does not impress, on my experience.

I truthfully don't have some big thing about Disney movies. But I liked The Incredibles a bit more than others. It, as odd as it sounds, seemed the most realistic compared to the other movies. And super powers are cool Big Grin . Elastigirl has the sweetest power in the movie ^^.

The Incredibles

Its really a movie everyone can watch without being ashamed of seeing a young kids movie.

But I gotta say movies like Aladin, Peter Pan, and Cinderella...They were great as a kid. And its actually really frightening to hear that my younger cousins don't even know who Peter Pan is... I mean... Disney was like... part of my life as a youngster...which wasn't that long ago. Makes me wonder what they are watching instead. As long as they aren't watching MTV or HipHop/ pop/ punk metal... I'm pretty much fine with whatever they do.

Toy story is the best by far...

I don't think the Pixar movies really belong on the list. I can't think of them as Disney movies since all Disney did was provide the backing.

My favorite Disney movie, my favorite childhood movie period is The Little Mermaid. I love that movie. I loved it so much that I wanted to be a mermaid when I was six. Pleased

I would say that my top handful of Disney movies have to be, in no particular order, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Aladdin.

Okay, Mulan is probably my favorite of the bunch--partly because Lea Salonga provides the singing voice for Mulan, I will admit--but not by too large a margin. The other three could be said to be tied for second.

There are not too many Disney movies I have not liked; I find most of them very enjoyable.

Of the Pixar/Disney movies, the Incredibles is my favorite, but I honestly do not think it approaches the same class as the four I just mentioned. Granted, I do think that reflects my biases towards musicals and hand-drawn animation...but that is just the way I am.

Disney sequels do not exist. Anyone who tells you differently is lying.

Hear, hear, FP. Hear, hear.

Any film title with a number in it is most always doomed to failure...
Especially when it's a fraction.

*shudders at the memory of shoddy "Lion King" sequels....
