Oww those are soo cool! I would love those too! I have also wanted the Big O Art books and if there ever was one-one from Pet Shop of Horrors. There was once this really detailed one of Gundam Wing? I beleieve or some other series that I despertly wanted, the name escapes my mind right now. I also am a huge fan of the how to draw managa series granted they are not really art books but they are still fun.

Two artbooks that I mostly want are the Serial Experiments Lain artbook, as well as some of the CCS artbooks. Those look really cool. Too bad the Lain one is very difficult to find.

I own a Sailor Moon artbook, I can't remeber the title it comes with the cute 'Paraelle Moon' story. I only have the Chobits artbook 'For your eyes only' which came with a nice little tote bag. I also own artbooks/guide books to Chobits, The Big O, Sailor Moon R, and Sailor Moon S.
I don't know if this counts or not, but I've always wanted the 'Rome Cutey Honey' book, which is suppose to be some sort of guide to the Cutey Honey anime.

Well basicly my most wanted ones would be Wolf's Rain and Saiyuki. But the only way to get those is though imports and the Saiyuki onekind of rare.
I love the Big O artbook, and I got the metal gear artbooks for Falcon7, they were gorgeous.
I always wanted one of the Marmalade Boy artbooks but have yet to find one, it's a great series.
I love Amano and would give my eye teeth for
any of these artbooks!

I want a 'Gunsmith Cats' artbook - simply because I want to be able to study and draw the characters, especially Rally (duh). Her hair is so hard, plus the gun details are necessary for the work.
I want Amano's 'Vampire Hunter D' artbooks - I love the ornate style he has in that universe.
And probably the artbook for series one of 'Sakura Wars'. The characters are perfect models for my own novel's characters - I like to be able to see my characters on paper, it give them a physical presence. (Any artists want to read my novel and help out on this???)
I've seen 'Project A-Ko' artbooks and wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be - it was mostly the artists sketching panty-shots, showing off the Three Ko's undergarments (or less), and scenes they wanted to do for the lez-lemon version they had originally planned on. Although I found it quite interesting how in the lez-lemon character sketches C-Ko looks light-years more intelligent.

I'd love to have more of the Cowboy Bebop art books. There's supposed to be a new one out soon, I've heard, with lots of Kawamoto's concept sketches and whatnot. I've got the "The After" artbook, but I like the ones with lots of character studies and stuff. It helps me when I'm trying to do concept sketches of my own characters.
The Wolf's Rain book looks really gorgeous too, and even though I didn't like the show much, I wouldn't mind having the book (I've got a bunch of artbooks for series that I didn't like story-wise, but loved the art to).
My Big-O book is probably my favorite right now, though, and has gotten the most use. It's not falling apart like my CLAMP X Zero book, but it's getting worn out. I might need to buy a new one. ^^;
Oh! I would LOVE to have some Utena art books! The Luxury Illustrations book in particular. 32 pages of large, high-quality manga art printed on thick paper. (drool)

I'm so tempted to say yes, but I know that every time I say I'll do something, it takes me forever to finish. But if you don't mind that, I think it'd be fun to try.

Speaking of Amano, Ive actually got his HUGE compilation artbook that shows most of his signature prints, from Vampire Hunter D to Final Fantasy. I believe they show only the prints that are available for sale (somewhere, you can track down all those indexed in the book). Good stuff, picked it up for about $35 at Borders
I also search long and hard, and far and wide for anything by Ayami (Ayame?) Kojima...she's the artist behind all the recent Castlevania art for posters, scrolls, and instruction manual art. If you havent seen what she can do...I highly recommend you taking a look. Beautiful stuff!! I just wish I could find a C-Vania artbook somewhere out there...

AIR - The Motion Picture MAG Garden PREMIUM ART COLLECTION:
AIR ON TV ANIMATION ART BOOK:
AIR TV ANIME ART SKETCH BOOK:
These
three two items are on my "most wanted" list as of a few days ago. Very wonderful art books if you enjoyed the series as I have. I have only seen some of the art in the AIR TV artbooks, and the images look beautiful. I wasn't as impressed on the AIR visual novel artbook. I guess I perfer the TV and movie art over the visual novel's art.
I also want the Serial Experiments Lain artbook as well. Although, that artbook is a bit harder to find (and more expensive). It has some nice drawings also.
The Official Companion Art Book for Big O would be nice to have as well.

Utena Character Sketchbook
If anyone thinks they can help, I'd appreciate it.

The best artbook I own is Monkey Punch's Cuties. This particular book is a compilation of his work from the late sixties to mid seventies. It's centered around his female characters (hence the name) some original and some from his manga series like Lupin III and Siamese Cats. It's 127 pages of Monkey Punch flavored silliness and debauchery, lovely. :3
Here's a link to some preview images if you're interested at all.
Cuties
I also have artbook/guidebooks for Lupin the Third: Dead or Alive and The Big O. They're both really cool! The Big O guide was very interesting, especially the design works section which shows us a few prototype designs for the characters and megadeuses...the original designs for Dastun and the Griffin freak me out a little. Seriously. O_o
Anyway, it was pretty much anything you could ask for in a guidebook and more. The Dead or Alive Collection was equally as cool. As for the books I don't have…
My most wanted list:
Sunrise Robots 1 & 2
The Art of Metal Gear Solid
Kazuma Kaneko Works (Persona series)
One Piece: Colorwalk 1-3
