Peace. |
I saw the episode a while back in a fan sub, but I think he really did quit becuase he really believed what he was doing.

Wow, this episode was gold. We learned so much about the Major and how she did love at one point or another (which blows my theory about the Major liking girls more than guy theory out of the water.) I cannot believe what I saw and am wondering if the Major will go back again to store something. I still cant believe what I saw...

I wish they'd repeat these, since I keep missing them.

I think the message was the best part: nobody's perfect at something the first time they try it. That applies to everything, from folding paper cranes to training n00bs for Section 9.

Wow, that episode was a pretty good one last night. Finally, they give a bit more into the past of the major. Can't say I care too much for her Bret Hart sunglasses, but oh well. I also love all the sarcasm betweem Togusa and Batou.

Damn. Even though it was an "individual" episode and had nothing to do with the main focus of the plot, that was one of the best episode of Ghost in the Shell I've ever seen.
That was one helluja a story that the woman told and I wonder if she knew that she was talking about Motoko. But damn it, why didn't she tell the boy?!
Also before the commerical break, Batou said this about Togusa's question if he could tail the Major:
"You bet your ass."
That's the best thing he's ever said, and he's said a lot of quality stuff.

Damn that ingenious and after you said that, I just realize they do. Even though Motoko would wip the Hit-Man's ass and make him submit, but still... Nice.

That's also true.

I reiterate, please tell me they'll repeat this...the more I hear 'OH IT'S THE BEST EPISODE EVER' the more I regret having fallen asleep.

Apparently I can't totally do without sleep, though I've been trying to fix that for years

I think something is going to happen to Togusa or Batou or both. They are spending a lot more time together than usual. Maybe its just me, but thats what I think they are trying to lead up to...

Damn dude, you missed
both showings?

Although there are no main plots twist, no bombings, hell, there's barely any guns except when Motoko pulls out her piece for a minute. But still man, that was one of the best episodes, even if it was a filler.
Peace.

As I said earlier, that was a decent episode with a good message behind it. However, I wouldn't worry too much about having missed it. It was in no way the most thrilling one I've seen, nor did I feel it was the best of all the episodes like it. (You know, the more laid-back, through provoking ones.)

Sorry for the double post, but did anyone catch last nights episode? That one was even better than the week before. We finally got to see the return of that sword guy, and the ending was completely unexpected. I'm also surprised to find out that there never was an original copy of the Individual Eleven essay. Anyway, I won't spoil too much since Sharpshooter probably missedit again.

The ending...yeah, wow. [

In the end, does he kill himself too? It almost looked like he could be seen walking away from the bodies in the very edge of one of the shots. Or I imagined that.

No, you're not imagining that. I have it on tape, and you can clearly see him chopping off the head of that guy with long hair and then running away. Who knows why he didn't commit suicide as well, but maybe they will reveal that later.

Urgh, I almost threw up watching the end.
I was confused watching it at first when the Tachicomas infiltrated that system, I was like WTF? Is this a previous episode?
I completely forget who the white swordsmen is. Can anyone tell me?

The guy who tried to take out the Prime Minister at the...shrine or whatever a few episodes back.

That had to be the best ending I've ever seen. Period.
No, like seriously. PERIOD. I completely didn't see that coming and when it all went down, I literally rose up from my seat and yelled "Holy Sh*t!" It was that damn good.
Yeah, I did ol' boy in the white kill the guy and run away from the roof top? Is he really into the whole "refugee cause" or what? And why did he want a first edition copy of the Individual 11 essay so badly from the other 11 dudes? And what was all that mess that guy who slit his throat was talking about? There is no Indidivual 11 essay, he
is the Indidivual 11? See, I really confused but I still love it and again, that ending...
I'm starting to think that the white swordsman is what Goda was talking about before with the Major a few episodes back. About being the mastermind of the world's new hero or something like that. That just my guess though. I have to watch that ending again. It was so damn good and eerie too.
Peace.

Was that his (the swordsman's brain) they hacked? The one that made..uh...whatshisname freak out completely when he tried to open the individual 11 file? Maybe it's some sort of virus?
It's getting confusing, yeah. I'll admit.
Still great though.

Um, true. But I don't whose brain they were hacking when Buma got infected. I don't think it was the swordsman though. But I really want to know about ol' boy who slit his throat in front of Togusa who called himself the Individual 11. WTF was that about?
But yeah, that't the great about Ghost in the Shell; confused as hell and the more I'm confused, the more I want to watch.
I just know heads were rolling... literally.
Peace.

Just wondering, does anyone know anything about a boxset for Stand Alone Complex season 1? I'd like to get the whole series at one point or anyone, but I kind of want to get them boxed.
