ok now I'm pumped.
We're hammering out the details with my star wars nerd friends.
Who is getting what and staying with who, and driving what where, etc.
Who knows if the movie will even be any good after all this.

Sall good!

One of my kid brother's friends lent me his even better lightsaber!

One of the cool twenty dollar ones that light up and make cool saber-y noises.
I'm gonna go as a jedi whose missing an arm.

Just to piss people off.

Just throwing this out there...but was anyone as excited as I was about the Darth Vader voice changer?

I MUST have one! Hopefully I'll swing by Toys R Us and get me one! That will make any conversation entertaining!

Not to worry, Zop...(obviously) this'll be the darkest of the 6 so far, and Ive heard its the best as well. I read a review at usatoday.com (that doesnt make me or them an expert, but still) and they said it was incredible. Cant wait til Saturday...yeah, trying to get in to see a matinee...dont know if its a good idea...will probably have to fight off the five year olds and still, a crowd.

Ebert and Roeper actually gave it thumbs up 2x. That really surprised me.
BTW, Gummibear, Yes, I've seen the voice changer. However, it was at KBtoys for $35, and I think Toys R Us has it for cheaper. But it's a must buy

T-MINUS 25 HOURS ON EAST COAST.
I can't believe how hyper I am right now. Just a little bit more...just a little bit more....just a little bit...wow, It just sank in that the wait is only a little more than one day. Then, it's SHOWTIME as the last Star Wars movie. I remember seeing General Grievous for the first time, seeing the first batch of spoiler pics...it felt like only yesterday I was reading about the conclusion to the duel with Dooku..
:continues to listen to rots soundtrack:
I got my tickets. Boo-yah. I can't wait. Especially with that ridiculously awesome ending to Family Guy on Sunday.

Let's see...
On my desk right now are two free passes to Star Wars tonight at 12 that I got for donating blood.
What am I going to do?
I'll give them to my cousins, stay home and watch Team America. I'd be damned if I see that the first time it shows. And I'd also be damned if I dress up for it (lightsaber and all).
I'm going tomorrow afternoon.
Besides, anything involving the killing off of Kit Fisto pisses me off. He was the happiest jedi out there!

Alright Peeps. CST wise:
5 hours 10 min until midnight.
If I play my cards right, I may get to go with a friend. Wish me luck. Any other midnighters here??
My God...
Dear holy mother of God that was AWESOME.
I am consumed by the need to watch the old movies. In order. RIGHT NOW. But I'll probably fall asleep.
Just...wow.
Impressions:
| spoiler (highlight to read): |
Greivous was badass. He wasn't that good of a swordsman but made up for it by having four blades.
Palpatine is awesome. I must watch Jedi.
I would guess that Vader was tremendously angry and depressed until he found out that his son was still alive.
So many parallels to the old trilogy...sweet mother.
TARKIN!!
Captain Antilles!
The Death Star being built!
did I mention TARKIN?!
Tantive IV is all shiny and new and doesn't have a big hole in the roof.
So they decided to give 3P0 a wipe. Makes sense. R2 still went all crazy when he was old-man Ben.
After he dropped Luke off with Owen and Beru, Obi-Wan did that beard thing that Alec Guinness did.
"I HATE YOU!" I really, really, really can't wait to see the one lightsaber fight in ANH.
"Join me, and together we can rule the galaxy!" I was expecting "as husband and wife!"
I felt bad for Dooku. He was so helpless...and he ruled in so many ways. I was getting choked up when I saw the look on his face right before Anakin finished him.
The only bad thing is that the crazy-fast fights in the new trilogy make the slow fights in the old movies look like crap. |

on a rating from 1 to 10, 10 being teh best, i give it a 7 or 8.
The best parts were the action, the fighting scenes
The worst parts were the romance and script. (there is more chemistry in a chemistry set, than that of Padme and Anakin
During some of the movie the audience laughed like crazy because the script is SO bad, so bad it was funny.
It could've been better, and there are SO many nods to the original Trilogy. (like the starcraft designs and the troop designs)
| spoiler (highlight to read): |
| ever since i saw the original trilogy, i was like "If Yoda is so kick-ass, than why don't he just kill the Emperor and Darth Vader?" my question was answered | Best lightsaber duel ever: the one between Anakin and Obi-Wan | Mace Windu was so badass, i quote Pulp Fiction "he was a badass mother****er |

Actually, it's "bad motherf***er" as in:
"Now I want you to go in that bag and find my wallet."
"Which one is it?"
"It's the one that says Bad Motherf***er on it."
<---pretty much knows the entire script by heart
But yeah...Star Wars...I'm going to see it in 2 hours and 40 minutes. It better not suck like the past two.

I heard that romance scenes weren't George's strong point especially ones with so much one-on-one dialogue. Not to mention that Hayden and Natalie just don't have too much chemistry. I was never expecting them to...plus Han and Leia will always be THE Star Wars couple in my book. ^_____^ As long as it doesn't overshadow the awesomeness of the movie ( which by what I've read...it doesn't) I CAN'T WAIT!
