I like them too. One thing I particularly like about #1 is that his head is resting on what looks like a pillow of dreams, with dreams coming out of it.

Interesting stuff, Beth. I really like it. Though, I am sure the gal already knows that tears will be turned into cheers.

Kudos! I love the message it shows.

Charming!

Alrighty well these or this style of work is actually something that I do alot but this time I took it to the extreme and pushed the notch up a bit and did it in colour. This is completely dedicated to you my one and only love Tony. This is my arm and I tried to give you the best view of it as possible. ^_~"""

Elbow and Above

Entire underside of Arm

My attempt to scan my entire Arm

****The very small writting says "However far away, I will always love you. However long I stay... I will always love you, Now and Forever" The Larger writting next to that says "TONY" and the writting above my wrist states " MY DECISION STANDS" in other words I will never change my answer PERIOD!!!****

I take it class was exceptionally slow today? That's some detailing you have there, Beth. I'm impressed!

** tears in his eyes **

Beth, you made me so happy. I am deeply touched by this. Never before has a woman ever did something this elaborate for me. You know I feel the same about you. Thank you. [/off subject]

Wow, this is excellent. You are truly a gifted artist.

Kudos! I really love this.

Wow, that's something else! That obviously took a lot of time. Maybe you should consider posting previous work that you have done....

Tony, how is this off subject? It's completely on subject..considering the focus of the art. You should continue to gush all you like at this point. Big Grin

Once again Beth, this is really intense. I really like the subtle details there. Especially the blue butterfly and the feathers. Very nice. Wow...just wow.

Fine. I believe you are right...

Beth your body art is exquisite. I am enraptured by its complexity and form. I never had someone present to me something as heart warming and soul moving as much as this has.

I must say that use of color and symbolism is fantastic. I must say it just enhances an already superb artistic piece.

Overall, this piece hits me on a personal level. I really love your work. Thank you for posting such an excellent piece.

Kudos to you fine lady. I must take you out to L.A. and San Francisco. Are you free on December 20? I promise to be on my best behavior.

"All of us wear a Mask of Lies"
A Clockwork Tomato 01-28-2005 12:06 PM
Beautifully drawn!

I can't decide what's behind the mask; I can't decide what the mask represents. This almost perfect ambiguity almost never happens to me when I look at an artwork.
Tony Waynewrong 01-28-2005 12:09 PM
Wow! This is exquisite! I am truly impressed.

Kudos, love! Very well done. Big Grin
Wingnut 01-28-2005 12:09 PM
Well there is nothing behind the mask, as it seems that we are looking at the inside of the mask as it is lying on a table or something.
Sara Comatori 01-28-2005 12:11 PM
Wow that speaks to me.
BabyGhia 01-28-2005 12:32 PM
Looks like the inside of the mask to me. It's always interesting what you can do with pencil (right?). Nice shading and just the hints of shapes.

Interesting piece, Beth. And you're right. We all do wear a mask of lies... some more than others. Thought provoking piece too now that I think about it.

Wow Beth, so much art and all of it so wonderful! I love it, love it, love it!
Man, where to begin... the horse is great, such a feeling of movement and action. Love the fog dragon, the coloring adds to the feeling of the picture. The self-portrait is just amazing, it has such a strong sense of emotion, especially in the eyes, wow! I also like the comic 'Tears' and how that one ends up with the character thinking it's going to be a good day. And your body art dedicated to Tony is just amazing! It's so intricate and colorful and heartfelt, and that's such a creative way to express your feelings, he's a lucky guy!
All the works are great, and I'm happy to see some of your newer works since I haven't in a long time. Keep showing us!
