Apparently I was chatting away with ACT and well today during a rather boaring lecture all I mange to draw was these birds I believe some are chicks/chickens and turkeys. So to you ACT I dedicate this small piece to you, yeah yeah I am still going to draw you as a TOMATO!! some day or another ^_~""

Beth,

You have some really great details in there... the eyes really stand out and say a lot. The look on your face. The hair.

Very interesting self-portrait.

That's really nice. I like the suggestion of a blanket or scarf over your head. And as has already been said, the eyes really draw one into the picture.

I remember you showing this one to me.. I remember thinking then that you looked very tired. The eyes are definatley the center of attention. They are the window to the soul, are they not? Somebody we know said that to me once Oh Well

It's very moving Beth.

Here is a picture of Gintare she was my friend at boarding school she was from Lithunia she and I were awsome freinds. I sketched her in colour pencils and later did a abstract painting of her (I'll try to fin it later) She just recently called me while she was visting London, and so I post this in her memory.

** Sorry I can't put the dot on the "E" Gintare! LOL!!**

That's great, Beth! Great job on using the color pencil there (good overlapping of the colors, etc.). Great color choices.

well i won't around much this weekend i got slammed with two horse shows so i wont have any computer access this weekend. so i have decided to post my Dream series of a collage i have done and just recently gotten back from design class. there are 7 in the series yet the 7th one is ratehr large and i could not scan it and put it up thats alright i did not like it anyways. the object of this project was to convay emotion feelings etc with a main picture as the focus point with the words that express in black and white. so i have done mine on dreams, being a collage all you do is cut things out and stick them togehter i took it a step further i actually scanned in all of the pieces edited them as i chose and the printed them out and such cut and pasted still not much but its all i have right this second..........

I especially like the first one. I would have liked it even more if the word "dreams" had occurred only once, though I suppose that would have made it fall outside the requirements of the assignment.

The arms behind the head DO look like wings, and the pose implies dreaming (or at least daydreaming), so it all dovetails neatly. Also, the fact that we can't see the subject's face tends to evoke our dreams rather than his, which is a nice touch.

This is one of the most richest pieces I have seen from you, Beth. I am exceptionally fond of dream 6.

Kudos! It rules! Big Grin

I really like that, Beth! All of them. Great choice of pictures. Hope you got a good grade in your class with those.
