If I may recommend, that any profile that has not been used for a period of six (6) months, ie not logged in to, should be deleted. After that long it would be obvous that the member is not useing, and will likely not use the account again.
This was done back at the now old Gundam.com forums and worked well with no complaints as far as I am aware.
This is again just an idea, but considering the large number of unused accounts we have here, perhaps a little spring cleaning is in order.

I agree with Wingnut. There's no point in having all these unused accounts. I think they just take up space.

Aie, nobody complained, because anyone that might've got deleted
I don't know if its a big enough problem to worry about at the moment. The NASIOC Forums have a large (Huge) amount of unused Member Porfiles, and I've never heard of any sort of removal program for them. I also don't know how the Admins operate thier website, I just don't think members take up enough space, at the moment, to be a problem. I would think that one uploaded picture takes up more space than a few hundred unused profiles. But I've never tried to find out how much space we take up

I think someone brought this up a while ago. Krang said that member profiles take up barely any server space, so it's not a problem.

Actually, that's already being done. Profiles that have not been used within six months and have zero posts are deleted by the Administration.
As others have said, it might not be an absolute essential function - at the moment, at least, though the site is growing everyday. Nonetheless, every little bit of space that can be saved for the site can be of some help

Aww... There was a point where I disappeared for more than 6 months, but I came back. I don't post often (since I don't have much computer time any more), but I do enjoy being here. Please don't delete me.

Don't worry, I don't plan on deleting any accounts with at least one post.
