[Suggestion] A (Sub?) forum for good bye, vacation, and I'm back threads

Okay....how about a forum called something like "Basement: 666" or something for people to post Vacation, leaving for a while/forever, and I'm back threads? Have it like you have the Hudson River Pier....and after a few days/weeks, lock them (Exsept for Vacation threads, wich people do post in after they come back). It could be a sub-forum or a normal forum if you want it to be....This is just another one of my wacky ideas....but it's a thought....clean up the Speakeasy some....

Thanks for the suggestion. I see your point about vacation threads, but as I mentioned earlier, this could end up inadvertently encouraging the wrong kind of threads...

And, as I have previously sggested, you could just throw in an Away profile textfield. That way, you'll KNOW somebody is gone when you look at their posts.
